About Me

My name is Mateusz Przewłoka. I was born in April 1990 in Warsaw, Poland. I am a full-time university student and globetrotter (for which some of my Polish friends have nicknamed me "Obieżyświat" - the name given to Strider in the Polish translation of the Lord of the Rings). I am also involved in charity work (Oxfam, the Mises Institute Poland, and formerly Amnesty International) as well as political activism - supporting the Ron Paul movement in the United States and Janusz Korwin-Mikke in Poland. As of today I have lived in:
- Warsaw, Poland
- Los Alamos, NM, USA
- Bronx, NY, USA
- Cambridge, UK
- Philadelphia, PA, USA
I currently study at Villanova University in Pennsylvania with a major in Philosophy and minor in Classics.
My personal philosophy is largely shaped by my own original non-conformist nature as well as a deep influence of the writings of Herbert Spencer, Murray Rothbard, and J.R.R Tolkien. Other than political philosophy and ethics my main interests include epistemology, economics, and history.
I am also an avid sports fan and supporter of Legia Warszawa, Arsenal London, and the Philadelphia Eagles. In my free time I also enjoy playing Poker (particularly Texas Hold 'Em) and smoking a variety of cigars.
